　　我院王子鳴同學(xué)在外語文化節(jié)演講比賽中取得優(yōu)異

　　成績

　　11月30日18時30分，我校外語文化節(jié)演講比賽在外國語學(xué)院隆重舉行。本次比賽由校團(tuán)委，國際交流與合作處，學(xué)工部以及教務(wù)處主辦，外國語學(xué)院承辦。應(yīng)邀出席本次比賽的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)有我校教務(wù)處處長林秋華，校團(tuán)委社團(tuán)部部長任永明，外國語學(xué)院黨委書記許崇波以及文學(xué)院高級輔導(dǎo)員孫世友，此外擔(dān)任評委的還有趙永梅，王平，顧慧萍等老師。王子鳴同學(xué)代表我院參加了本次比賽。 首先由主持人致以慷慨激昂的開場白，并就比賽規(guī)則及評分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)進(jìn)行了簡要說明。接下來，比賽正式拉開帷幕，比賽分為“演講”和“即興回答”兩個環(huán)節(jié)。此次共有 19 個來自不同學(xué)院的同學(xué)參加了比賽。我院王子鳴同學(xué)的演講《what we can’t afford to lose is process》，或慷慨激昂，或深情低沉，或情感真摯，將青春風(fēng)采展現(xiàn)得淋漓盡致。并且她憑借清晰流利的口語，聲情并茂的演講獲得了評委老師的一致贊賞。在“即興問答”環(huán)節(jié)，王子鳴同學(xué)憑借較高的英語水平、較強(qiáng)的臨場發(fā)揮能力和應(yīng)變能力，從容回答所選問題，贏得觀眾陣陣掌聲。最后我院王子鳴同學(xué)獲得比賽的一等獎并接受了許崇波書記的頒獎。

　　通過本次比賽，不僅給同學(xué)們提供發(fā)揮才能的舞臺，充分展現(xiàn)我院學(xué)生的優(yōu)秀風(fēng)采，而且有助于營造我院英語學(xué)習(xí)氛圍，調(diào)動全院學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的`積極性。同時豐富了校園文化，推動我院英語教學(xué)建設(shè)。

　　為營造我院英語學(xué)習(xí)氣氛，豐富校園文化。10月12日晚，我院學(xué)生會學(xué)習(xí)部主辦的英語命題演講比賽在三教a座201教室舉辦，23位來自我院20xx級與20xx級的同學(xué)參加此次比賽。

　　A man who lived in a block of apartments thought it was raining and put his head out the window to check. As he did so a glass eye fell into his hand.

　　He looked up to see where it came from in time to see a young woman looking down.

　　"Is this yours?" he asked.

　　She said, "Yes, could you bring it up?" and the man agreed.

　　On arrival she was profuse in her thanks and offered the man a drink. As she was very attractive he agreed. Shortly afterwards she said, "I'm about to have dinner. There's plenty. Would you like to join me?"

　　He readily accepted her offer and both enjoyed a lovely meal. As the evening was drawing to a close the lady said, "I've had a marvelous evening. Would you like to stay the night?"
