語(yǔ)言文學(xué)畢業(yè)論文-威廉.荷加斯《美的分析》研究

摘 要

荷加斯(W.Hogarth,1679-1764)是英國(guó)著名畫家、風(fēng)俗畫的奠基人和杰出的藝術(shù)理論家，對(duì)美學(xué)理論的發(fā)展做出了極大貢獻(xiàn)�！睹赖姆治觥肥呛杉铀沟�'1部重要美學(xué)著作，同時(shí)也是歐洲美學(xué)史上第1部以形式為基礎(chǔ)的論著。本文從以下4個(gè)方面對(duì)《美的分析》進(jìn)行了研究。其1，闡釋荷加斯提出的關(guān)于美的“6大原則”，即適宜、多樣、統(tǒng)1、單純、復(fù)雜、尺寸。其中適宜是最重要的形式美原則。所謂適宜，是指對(duì)象的局部與其總的意圖相符合，也就是對(duì)象的形式美要符合目的。其2，論述“蛇形線是最美的線條”這個(gè)著名的命題。在荷加斯看來(lái)，波狀線、蛇形線都可以稱作美的線條，尤其是蛇形線，不但是美的線條，而且是富有魅力和吸引力的線條，因此是最美的線條。其3，對(duì)《美的分析》的特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行揭示。其特點(diǎn)有2，1是從自然出發(fā)；2是用眼睛進(jìn)行觀察，借助于形式分析法。最后，對(duì)《美的分析》1書的不足進(jìn)行了批判。其不足也有2，1是表述不夠嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)；2是形式美分析法的不足。

ABSTRACT

W.Hogarth (1697-1764), the English renowned painter, the genre painting founder and the outstanding artistic theoretician, has made the enormous contribution to the esthetics theory development. The Analysis of Beauty is an important esthetics work of Hogarth, meanwhile is the first work which takes the form as the foundation in the European esthetic history. This thesis analyzes The Analysis of Beauty from the following four aspects. first, clarifying Hogarths "six great principles", namely, suitability, persity, unity, purity, complexity, size. Suitability is the most important form beauty principle, which refers to the conformity of the part of the object and the intention to the total; the form beauty of the object and the goal. second, explainig the famous proposition that the snake line embodies the biggest charm. In Hogarth’s view, the undulation line, and the snake line are both called beautiful lines, aspecially the snake line, it is beautiful, full of charm and attraction, third, revealing the characteristics of The Analysis of Beauty: one is from the nature, the other is the observation with the eyes, with the analytic method in form. Finally, criticizing the shortcomings of The Analysis of Beauty, which include two, one is not strict indication, the other is shortcoming of form beauty analytic method.
