我第二次不寫作業(yè)是因為我在家里父母東一句:“字寫好點。”西一句:“字和字要對齊”不愿意寫就到學校寫,可是沒寫完又被老師拎到辦公室,這一次我差一點就被開除了,也就是這一回我再也不敢不寫作業(yè)了。

高中英語新課程標準特別強調(diào)了英語教學要符合高中生的心智和情感態(tài)度的發(fā)展。新課改的核心就是課堂教學,如何改革,目標只有一個,那就是高效的高中英語課堂,而要提高英語課堂效率,方法也多種多樣,應(yīng)結(jié)合課程的時代性和基礎(chǔ)性,從學生的生活實際出發(fā),英語是一門語言類學科,與生活息息相關(guān),筆者結(jié)合新課標的相關(guān)要求,談?wù)勑抡n標下如何構(gòu)建高中英語高效課堂。
一、構(gòu)建生活化情境,培養(yǎng)語感語境
語言學習重在情境,如果缺乏一定的情境,那是水中撈月、紙上談兵。傳統(tǒng)的高中英語教學是在高考的指揮棒下,將知識點、內(nèi)容強硬地灌輸給學生,學生也是在被動的情況下接受,不少學生不過是為了完成知識點的記憶,進行死記硬背、生搬硬套。語感的缺乏、語言綜合運用能力的欠缺,使得現(xiàn)今的高中英語教學貼上了“啞巴英語”“聾子英語”的標簽。
比如在教學“Looking good , feeling good”這一課內(nèi)容的時候,我就用多媒體創(chuàng)設(shè)了一個生活化的情境,展示了一些運動項目,如高爾夫、體操、跳水、短跑、武術(shù)、體操、溜冰、棒球等等。并且在課堂一開始,就提了一些生活化的問題,“Are you interested in sports?”“What kind of sports are you particularly fond of?”“Have you ever joined one of them?If not, are you planning to join one?”通過類似的生活化情境的創(chuàng)設(shè),學生很快能適應(yīng)到這樣的語境中來,隨后通過聽一些錄音、欣賞一些視頻對話,走入課堂內(nèi)容,結(jié)合一些運動的單詞,通過某個點撥產(chǎn)出一組詞匯。結(jié)合課文要求掌握的詞匯,比如“fit”,這個詞既可以是形容詞,也可以是動詞,還可以是名詞,具體的結(jié)合學生們生活中的例子,比如:“老師一直很喜歡教師這份職業(yè),你們覺得呢?”,這時候?qū)W生回答道:“I think you are really fit for your job.”“老師今天穿的這件上衣是否合身呀?”學生回答道:“The blouse fitted you well.”這時候我指著自己穿的大衣:“這個天有點冷了,是不是應(yīng)該穿大衣?穿大衣是不是一個比較好的選擇呢?”學生在我的啟發(fā)之下,說出:“The coat is a nice fit.”……
通過生活化情境的創(chuàng)設(shè),學生們的語言思維被快速地激活,語感也就隨之產(chǎn)生。課堂效果良好,并且生活化的情境對于學生的記憶也有了很大的幫助。
二、還原生活化環(huán)境,促進輕松教學
在高考的重壓之下,高中英語教學總讓人覺得有些沉重,一切都是為了高考,課堂上爭分奪秒,少了很多活躍的氣氛,課后學生們題海戰(zhàn)術(shù),少了很多學習的樂趣。課堂上,教師與學生之間的交流與合作也不多,其實和諧的師生關(guān)系更能促進有效的英語課堂。所以在教學中,可以還原生活化的環(huán)境,讓學生在輕松、愉悅的生活化環(huán)境下學習,讓師生關(guān)系在和睦、和諧的情境中生成,讓教學與學習變得輕松。
比如學習“Wish you were here”這一課內(nèi)容的時候,這節(jié)課的知識點比較零散,有大量的詞匯、語法需要學生掌握,如果一堂課下來,純粹講解這些知識點和語法,學生可能記不住多少內(nèi)容,相反,如果在輕松和諧的氛圍中,讓學生從話題中感悟知識點的內(nèi)涵,教學效果會更理想。基于這是一節(jié)英語閱讀課,大部分學生在完成閱讀的過程中,都是帶著“好讀書不求甚解”的心態(tài),甚至感覺到閱讀課堂的枯燥、乏味。這節(jié)課我一改常態(tài),通過多媒體設(shè)備,為學生營造了一個和諧的課堂氛圍,比如我播放了一些非洲的音樂,在音樂聲中,引導學生們欣賞多媒體幻燈片上的圖片,一望無際的撒哈拉沙漠,一些漂流登山者騎著駱駝穿越沙漠,這是大家在忙碌的學習工作中所憧憬的畫面。隨后伴隨著我提出的問題,讓學生們閱讀課文,我提到:“Can you tell me where these pyramids are located?”“Do you think it is a land full of mystery , charm and attraction?”……結(jié)合我提出的這些疑問,學生們對于文章閱讀的背景知識有了一定的了解,也在潛意識里對閱讀內(nèi)容產(chǎn)生了濃厚的興趣。
這種輕松、愉悅的生活化的授課環(huán)境,讓學生掃除了英語學習過程中的焦慮情緒,同時通過影音、圖片、視頻、對話等一系列方法的融入,讓學生們勇于開口說英語,勇于進行探究式的學習。
三、設(shè)計生活化作業(yè),促進自主學習
學生自主學習是高效課堂的重要保證,通過自主學習,學生不僅能學好英語知識,更有助于他們掌握學習的方法,對于他們今后的成長、發(fā)展也有著積極的意義。作業(yè)是高效課堂的一個重要組成部分,所謂溫故知新,都需要在作業(yè)中加以鞏固、完成,傳統(tǒng)的高中英語教學往往通過布置大量的作業(yè),讓學生進行復(fù)習,其結(jié)果往往是收效甚微。所以在生活化課堂的推進之下,教師也可以通過設(shè)計生活化的作業(yè),來促進學生自主學習。
比如學習了“growing pains”這一課,學生們對于生活中的煩惱、成長的煩惱都在課堂與大家交流了一遍,比如有的學生提到學習的煩惱、父母長輩等提出的期望無法達到的煩惱、對理想是否能實現(xiàn)的煩惱、與人溝通的煩惱。還有的學生聯(lián)系了電視劇《成長的煩惱》《家有兒女》等進行了敘述。趁著他們對于對“成長的煩惱”話題的激情,我布置了相關(guān)的作文,題目是“Grow up without pains but happiness”,要求學生們聯(lián)系自己的實際生活,想一想我們有哪些煩惱,這些煩惱讓我們產(chǎn)生了什么行動和想法,但是這些煩惱的背后,又有著成長的快樂與收獲。通過這樣的生活化的作業(yè)形式,學生們的思維被進一步打開,同時也呈現(xiàn)出英語作為一門人文學科,在教學的同時,一些人文思想、教育理念,可以通過淺出的生活實際以及深入的課堂內(nèi)涵,自然而然地呈現(xiàn)出來,使得學生受益匪淺。
