秋天到來的時候，單位里有位同事調(diào)走了，空出了一間宿舍。那位同事是我的校友，也是我的好友。他調(diào)走的消息我是第一個知道的，我及時請示了單位領(lǐng)導(dǎo)，搬進了他空出來房間。對我來說，這是一次意外收獲。

我對那間宿舍非常滿意。首先，周圍環(huán)境很好，門前是一道院墻，院墻外面是大片的莊稼地，不遠處有一座小土丘，上面長滿蒼翠的林木，空氣十分清新。其次，宿舍里只有我一個人，那位同事原來是與一位老工人住在一起的，因為那位老工人天天回家，宿舍里其實只有他一個人。我住進去之后，也幾乎見不到那位老工人的蹤影。最讓我高興的是，宿舍里還有一張桌子和一把椅子，它們也是屬于那位老工人的，老工人不在，自然就暫且屬于我了。幾經(jīng)周折，我終于有了一個夢寐以求的理想宿舍。

一天夜里，我學(xué)習(xí)到很晚，疲憊至極，躺下去正要睡去，忽然感覺額前有一縷涼涼的東西，起初我以為是一縷頭發(fā)，困意襲來，懶得去管它�？墒悄强|頭發(fā)老是在亂動，癢癢的。我忍不住抬手捋了一把，竟把一個東西捋在手里，冰涼，且蠕動不止。我大吃一驚，用力捏了一下丟開了，一陣忙亂，亮了燈，只見枕頭上一條蜈蚣正在掙扎，因為被我捏傷，已經(jīng)無力逃走。后來，我在房間里數(shù)次發(fā)現(xiàn)了蜈蚣，每次都讓我驚悸不已，每次我都讓它們有來無回。我曾經(jīng)詢問隔壁老工人房間里是否有蜈蚣，他們都搖頭，我很是不解。后來了解到，蜈蚣是怕煙味的，那些老工人都喜歡吸煙，房間里整天煙霧繚繞，蜈蚣自然不敢去。而我已經(jīng)多年不吸煙，所以蜈蚣才會往我的房間里跑。

過了一段時間，我又在房間里發(fā)現(xiàn)了老鼠。每當(dāng)夜深人靜，我坐在桌前看書，它們就會悄悄出現(xiàn)，在我腳邊轉(zhuǎn)來轉(zhuǎn)去，稍一抬腳，它們會迅即消失。我注意到桌子下面的墻根處有一個小小的黑洞，老鼠就是從那里來的，又是在那里消失的。我先是找來一塊石頭把洞口堵住，然而過了幾天，在石頭旁邊又出現(xiàn)了新的洞口，老鼠們照常來去無阻。后來有一位同事借給了我一個老鼠夾子，幾乎每天晚上都能夾到一只。過了一段時間，房間里終于絕了鼠患。

冬天又來臨了。

這天，我剛吃完飯，好久不見的小胡子突然來訪。我疑惑地望著他，自從我們不在一個宿舍居住，幾乎沒有了來往。他大大咧咧坐下之后，直截了當(dāng)?shù)叵蛭艺f明了來意：原來，這個冬天，小胡子又把老婆孩子從老家接來了，這一回，與他同住一室的老工人堅決不同意另找地方睡覺，在這種情況下，小胡子又想到了我。在我的宿舍里，小胡子提出一個解決方案：我到他的宿舍與那位老工人同住，他一家人到我的宿舍居住。我聽了，一時不知到說什么好。雖然我很想幫助他，可是我更不想失去這個來之不易的理想之地。思量再三，我最終客氣地拒絕了他，希望他另想辦法。小胡子顯然很不高興，嘟噥了一句什么，轉(zhuǎn)身悻悻而去。

記憶中的那個冬天非常寒冷。宿舍里沒有暖氣，也沒生爐子。每天晚上我坐在桌前，手指總是凍得拿不住筆，腿腳總是漸漸麻木。睡覺的時候，哆哆嗦嗦鉆進冰涼的被窩，身子總是蜷縮成一團。第二天早晨睜開眼睛，總是看見地上的臉盆里結(jié)著厚厚的冰。

時光飛逝，光陰荏苒，轉(zhuǎn)眼間我參加的歷時三年的xx學(xué)院大學(xué)本科成教學(xué)習(xí)已近尾聲，即將畢業(yè)的我回顧過往的點點滴滴依然清晰分明。

三年前成人高考的情景至今仍歷歷在目，曾記那時，正在xx市xx房地產(chǎn)綜合開發(fā)有限公司上班，工作上任務(wù)繁重，休息日都被新樓盤的籌備擠去了，屬于自己支配的時間少之甚少，那段時間，好幾次有放棄這次入學(xué)考試的機會，憑著毅力還是堅持了下來，每次的抽空復(fù)習(xí)，終于順利過了成人高考。為自己能有幸成為xx學(xué)院的學(xué)員而倍感慶幸，現(xiàn)又即將完成學(xué)業(yè)，心里總感到一種“苦盡甘來”的滋味，付出后的成功使內(nèi)心更充實。這也正驗證了“決心即力量，信心及成功”這句名言的內(nèi)涵。

通過三年的成教學(xué)習(xí)獲得了很多知識，更重要的是有了較快掌握一種新事物的能力。思想變成熟了許多，性格更堅毅了，認識了許多同學(xué)和老師，建立起友誼，并在與他們的交往中提升了自身素質(zhì)，認清了自身的一些短處并盡力改正。這段成教學(xué)習(xí)生活是我人生成長道路上一道亮麗的風(fēng)景線，也是閃閃發(fā)光的一段人生歷程，它包括汗水和收貨，為我劃平人生的線起著至關(guān)重要的作用，給了我一次重新塑造自我、完善自我的機會。

Competition and Cooperation

Competition is a very common phenomenon in our social life today. We compete when we play games, we try to do better than others in our study and there is constant competition for jobs, fame, wealth and so forth. We can say, to some extent, competition is one of the motive force of the development of society.

We often find competition and cooperation occurring at the same time. Think of a basketball game. During the game, one team is competing against the other, but each member of the team must cooperate with his teammates. In most cases, we can’t compete without cooperation. Thus they are equally important.

While advocating competition, we can’t forget cooperation. In modern society, cooperation is especially important because most work is fulfilled with and through other people. So we must combine competition with cooperation to obtain our goals.

春節(jié)過后，天氣漸漸暖和。這天，我得到一個消息：集體宿舍要重新進行調(diào)整，兩個人一個房間，自由組合。我又想起了成人高考，又開始向往理想中的宿舍，于是隨口說道：要是一人一個房間該多好啊。這話一出口，馬上有人譏笑我是異想天開。我也知道這是癡人說夢，說完很快就拋到腦后去了。然而，過了幾天，有人向我提供了一個情況：東宿舍那兒有一個房間，因為離廁所很近，氣味比較大，誰都不愿意去住，已經(jīng)閑置了很長一段時間。我聽了，心里一動，難道我的理想要變成實現(xiàn)嗎？

我悄悄地去考察了一下，發(fā)現(xiàn)那個房間位于一排宿舍的末尾，靠近一個公共廁所，廁所年久失修，往外流著污水，遠遠地就能聞到一股臭味。在廁所與宿舍之間生長著幾棵高大的楊樹，枝繁葉茂，應(yīng)該是受益良多。見此情景，我變得猶豫不決�？墒�，想起去年冬天“流離失所”的事情，我又開始考慮住在這里的一些好處：房間只屬于我一個人，誰也不會來打擾我的生活，我可以安心學(xué)習(xí)，為將來的成人高考做準備。最終，我決定住進去。

不久，我就搬進了這間閑置已久的宿舍，同時也發(fā)現(xiàn)了一些不盡人意的地方，地面坑洼不平，墻皮剝落，頂棚黑乎乎的。但是我仍然感到很滿足，畢竟這是一個完全屬于我的居住空間，在這里，我可以隨心所欲地安排一切。我搬來磚頭，靠墻壘起一個平臺，把我唯一的箱子擺放在上面，作為一個看書寫字的地方；我在床鋪的上方吊起一塊塑料布，用來遮擋頂棚落下的灰塵；我在靠床的墻壁上貼了報紙，看起來整潔了許多；我在房間里拉起一根繩子，用來懸掛衣服和毛巾。經(jīng)過一番忙碌，宿舍里很快增添了幾分溫馨。

然而，每天下班之后，回到宿舍，我卻不敢打開門窗，因為來自廁所的氣味隨時都恭候在外面，伺機進入。

夏天來臨了，房間里越來越悶熱，外面的氣味也越來越大，我開始后悔自己當(dāng)初的選擇。每當(dāng)我受不了屋內(nèi)的悶熱，不得不放下書本走出房間時，馬上又會被外面濃重的氣味包圍，于是又不得不遠離那排宿舍。那個夏天，有時候我會沿著一條長長的泥土路一直走到田野上，野外的莊稼和青草散發(fā)出的清新氣息總是讓我流連忘返；有時候我又會沿著通往礦區(qū)的路一直走進單位的會議室，那里面總是聚集了一群人在看電視，我找個地方坐下，時間就會在不知不覺中流逝。

Fake and poor quality commodities are a serious problem. Many things can be faked such as soybean sauce, vinegar, bicycles, and many other things. The interests of consumers are affected, and many enterprises keep losing money because of cheap fake commodities.

There are some reasons for such a phenomenon. The major one is the desire of some people to “make easy money”. These people think nothing of the law of the protection of intellectual property rights.

To get rid of fake and poor quality commodities, the government should educate people to obey the law of the protection of individual intellectual property rights and not to sell any fake goods. The government should punish severely and close down all the factories producing fake goods.

Last Saturday I joined a voluntary activity which was organized by the students' union of our school. We were given some food to feed these animals.
