商務英語三大實用翻譯技巧
商務英語是為國際商務活動這一特定的專業(yè)學科服務的專門用途英語,所涉及的專業(yè)范圍很廣,并具有獨特的語言現(xiàn)象和表現(xiàn)內(nèi)容、文體復雜。商務英語翻譯要求翻譯者具備豐富的商務理論和商務實踐知識,為了提高翻譯質量,翻譯者必須具備一定的自身條件。
第一,翻譯者的漢語功底要好。
很多人往往忽視這一點,認為漢語是自己的母語,憑著自己原來的底子應付翻譯中的問題,是綽綽有余的。然而在真正的翻譯過程中,為了一個詞語或者一個句型,冥思苦想了半天也得不到一個滿意的結果。有時好不容易想出來了也覺得不夠理想。由此可見,漢語表達能力和對漢語理解能力的大小直接影響翻譯的好壞。下功夫學好漢語,打好漢語基礎對于翻譯是十分重要的。
第二,英語語言能力要強。
全面的語法知識和大量的詞匯量缺一不可。如果只有大量的詞匯量,而沒有較好的英語語法知識。翻譯過程中譯者的理解肯定是錯誤百出,而且牛頭不對馬嘴。因此我們要提高在英漢翻譯中對于英文句子理解的準確性及漢英翻譯中英文表達的準確性。
第三,知識面要廣。
商務英語翻譯中要很好的'做到這一點,就要掌握商務理論和貿(mào)易實務等理論知識及貿(mào)易實踐經(jīng)驗。同時譯者還要具有豐富的百科知識,對天文地理、古今中外不說通曉,也要了解其中的一些基本知識。沒有一定的常識,譯者的語言水*即使再高,也是無法做好翻譯工作的。

在考完四六級之后,我曾經(jīng)深深地迷茫過,不知道選擇什么來鞏固和提高英文水*,也不知道怎么提高我那無法有效交流的口語水*。曾學過托福,但覺得它太學術了,在日常生活中不太實用。恰巧這時,網(wǎng)校推出了商務英語體驗班,算是給我指了一條明路。最喜歡的課程就是《實用商務英語》。
這套課程可謂最貼切最符合商務英語的“實用”二字,作為職場菜鳥,在禮數(shù)、思維邏輯、為人處世上最容易犯迷糊,最需要這方面的指導。
就試聽的2節(jié)課來看,老師在每節(jié)課上都主題明確地講解了職場上非常實用的英語知識和表達方法,而Dolly老師在課程中提及的職場經(jīng)驗和溝通技巧也讓我非常受用。比如說,如何禮貌地提出詢問,如何禮數(shù)周到地向公司前輩提出要求等;《金字塔原則》課上講的,如何有條不紊地將事務,現(xiàn)象原因等歸納總結分類,然后簡明扼要直奔主題的傳達出來,這些內(nèi)容更是讓我這個思維不嚴謹、邏輯斷層、容易詞不達意的學員茅塞頓開,我相信,這個原則即使是在生活上也可以靈活運用,在職場上則可節(jié)省時間和精力,做到條理清晰的與人交流,進而形成干練高效的工作能力。此外,每堂課雖然短小精悍,但內(nèi)容豐富多彩,恰到好處的習題量和Dolly老師的不時賣萌也讓課程添了很多趣味。
通過學習這套課程,尤其是**《實用商務英語》課程之后,其實打消了我的一種偏見:認為如果我不進入公司而是單干,如果我選擇**職業(yè),那么BEC對我就沒什么用,F(xiàn)在體驗了網(wǎng)校的這套課程,我了解到,學習BEC無疑會讓我在英語運用,商務知識及為人處世上如虎添翼。畢竟沒有人可以保證自己不會被卷入商務場景或事務的,而在社會上,商業(yè)交流也是無處不在,所以學會一些商務知識也是必不可少的;蛟S該說BEC的課程是初出象牙塔的新人適應商業(yè)社會的最佳鋪路石吧!

You are a clerk in Lucky Tourism Company. You are responsible for arranging travelling lines. One day ,you received the data as follows :
Read the following table which shows the changes in the way people spend their holidays. The table pides the tourism business into four parts ,telling the different percentages in 1980 and in 1990 ,from which you will notice the trend of current tourism business.
Use the information in the table to write a short report (about 100-120 words) emphasizing changes of the main business for your company.
Nowadays, less people like to spend their holidays at home. More people go camping outside or even travel abroad. The changes are caused mainly by three factors. First ,people become more open. Instead of staying at home, they visit foreign countries to know the different races. Secondly ,in the 1990s , house wives are more free from the heavy housework with more and more household utensils. Families are very happy to spend holidays outside with mothers or wives. Thirdly, travelling abroad can also mean enjoying comfortable weather in another country. Therefore less people go to crowded seaside ,they turn to other ways.
